AWARDS HIGHLIGHTS

Mumtaz Kassam
"It is very important for African countries to get recognized and the awards ceremony is creating awareness of the investment climate in Africa. And as you may realize our problem is basically infrastructure, transport, energy, so if Diageo can focus on that, it is a very good idea.

The most important thing that could be reported is of course good governance. What we find normally is that people always write the bad things about African countries, and that makes news unfortunately. If we could get more positive stories out of Africa, where certainly things do happen which are positive, then I think we can win more investment for Africa."
