"One of the things I enjoy telling people is that the first recorded exports for Guinness went to Sierra Leone in 1827. So I think we can claim reasonable heritage. The other interesting fact is that the second overseas brewery from Guinness was in Lagos. You’ll appreciate, of course, that the first overseas brewery was in London."
