Guinness Nigeria PLC is
a subsidiary of Diageo. Among the first companies to be quoted
on the Nigerian Stock Exchange back in 1965, today it has more
than 60,000 local shareholders. In 2004, Guinness Nigeria was
the second most capitalised company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange,
with market capitalisation of N138.04 billion.
Guinness Nigeria operates three breweries across the country - in Ogba,
Benin and Aba - and employs over 1500 people.
Main brands: Guinness FES (Foreign Extra Stout), Malta Guinness, Harp lager,
Satzenbrau lager and Gordon's Spark. There are also direct exports of our
spirits portfolio, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Gordon's Gin, Baileys,
J&B.
