Diageo Africa includes all of Diageo’s business in continental sub-Saharan Africa and outlying islands including Reunion, Mauritius and Seychelles. Diageo Africa is active, particularly in brewing, but also in distilling, within this region.
We currently operate 10 breweries in six African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Uganda, Seychelles.
We also operate three spirits production facilities in Kenya, Uganda and South Africa with production of beer and Malta Guinness licensed in 15 African countries.

The Diageo Africa Business Reporting Awards are part of a broader programme to encourage a more balanced view of Africa in the media. This includes the development of an interactive CD-Rom called Newsdesk: Business Africa, which aims to build capability among aspiring journalists.
