HE Christopher Kolade
"When a place has not been in the news positively for a long time, what tend to come out are impressions that are created by people who go in briefly and come out quickly. Those who have invested lots of money and are doing business in Africa don't seem to have the time to publicise what they do. So what you get still are a lot of negative images and this is why there is this poor image. But the reality on the ground for those who have actually tried their hand at business in Africa - in particular many of the international companies that have invested in Africa - is that they tend to be putting more and more money in, which means that their real hard experience tells them that it is land of opportunity."
