Dr Mohamed Ibrahim
"Many companies have been shy about going in to Africa. They have a number of concerns about rule of law, conflicts, and corruption. Yes, Africa has its share of these problems, but the problems have been exaggerated by the simple mechanism that what makes the news is bad news. So usually what the western viewer sees on the TV or reads in the newspaper is about the problems in Rwanda, the problems in Zimbabwe etc. But there are 56 African countries. This slanted coverage affects people's view about Africa."
