Introduction Welcome. The Diageo Africa Business Reporting Awards (DABRA) recognise journalists and editors who provide high quality coverage of the business environment in Africa. Currently there is relatively little reporting of business on the continent. The resulting shortfall in reliable information is hindering greater investment in Africa. DABRA aims to promote a more balanced view of financial issues and business opportunities across the continent, thereby empowering investors to make informed decisions about Africa as well as show casing Africa's success stories. 2008 is DABRA's fifth anniversary.
